REI received a degree in law. She then started working at a nonprofit organization for nursing care and welfare services. She was also working as a freelancer giving psychological counseling and therapy. In the following years, she went back to university and pursued a degree in philosophy. In the process of accomplishing this degree, She engaged in a variety of side disciplines through courses like religion, art , archaeology, and biology where she started experiencing thoughts that made her wonder about the inner meaning of life and of the respect and appreciation of nature. Through these experiences, her passion was born. Her thoughts did not remain to be just mere experiences but became a world worth creating, thus became Okielgreen. These passions mainfested through her glass artwork,flower arranging and interior knowledge. After came her Mixed Media illustration works with glass, fresh flowers and other media in 2010.
